Renovations for the Reflecting Pool began in May, with Trump seeking to have the pool\u2019s floor painted \u201cAmerican Flag blue\u201d and its water kept clear. Maintenance crews have since repeatedly battled with algae blooms that have turned the pool\u2019s water green<\/u>, with the landmark being drained at least three times<\/u> by July 10.
